Autumn Thoughts
These last few days it’s gotten a little cold. Cold on the street, colder in the office, colder in the apartment… Autumn is showing her best, blowing away red-yellowish leafs from all the trees in its way…I have no idea for what reason some cartoons showed autumn as a season to fall in love…Spring, OK, I get it…But autumn? Maybe its melancholy, the sudden need for warmth and embraces, for something tender to make you forget of the rigid aspect of everything…
I do love sunny autumn days when everything looks shiny and golden, but I ultimately remain a summer person. And I am already starting the miss the heat…I will take these couple of cold seasons as I seem to be taking everything lately: one day at a time.
I never noticed cartoons showed autumn as a season to fall in love, only movies; but it does make sense to me - when everything around fades, some get a dire need of something stable, of a place to hide from all the treacheries of the world. And what better place to shelter yourself from all of this, if not in the arms of your loved one? (thanks for the help with the translation)
Autumn is my favorite season.. I love the wind, the falling leaves.. there is something about that season that makes me wait for it every year. And I guess it's a good season for falling in love..
I love autumn because I love beautiful sweaters and sweater type clothing. Plus I love the beautiful trees when they are golden and orange. But I love summer too. I dread the winter.
For me, autumn is the worst season because everything gets gloomy, colder, people return from their summer vacations with melancholy and negative examples could continue. All in all, it is a sad season. The positive thing I can find, for my selfish desires, is that autumn needs to exist in order to make the transition to winter, the ski season :) Hurray to this season!
autumn is the time of year in which nature decays and goes to sleep, yet with the promise that rebirth and renewal will come about in a few months... i love autumn for its colours and maturity, for an introspectiveness which the other seasons lack...
Well, Shi, how cold does it get there in autumn? Just curious
Moon, same here, when that same wind makes you start shakind from every bone because your too cold, I tend to forget about the falling leaves pleasures.
Rose, I only like winter for about two weeks, after ski and Christmas snows, I would like the summer back.
Cris, could not agree with you more on autumn, but only on the negative points :D
Bart, I also love the colors, as for maturity, we have to much of that already, in my opinion.
Bilal, I guess if you think beach and summer parties, it is the season of fast loves!
Draga Romanian Speaker. Iar trebuie sa vorbesc cu oameni care au pierdut parti importante din lectiile de engleza. Ce s-a intamplat cu partea aia in care iti preciza profesorul ca unele neutre pot trece la masculin sau feminin atunci cand sunt personificate? Ca de exemplu atunci cand ii spui cainelui he sau she in loc de it? WTF!
Cum spui tu! Dar nu exista nimic care sa ma lege in vreun fel de Sahespeare. Nici nu as vrea, prefer stilul meu. Oricum, de ce sa ma pierd in subtilitati din astea? Thanks for stopping by. Do come back a again. And try to comment in English on my blog, given that you are so good at it!
