The day before
Well, guys, I am studying for my last exam of tomorrow. Of course I’ve just started the serious studying today, that is what I always do…There is a Romanian saying that you should not try to make the pig fatter the day before you slaughter it…Well, if that is the only day it eats, it might just do the trick…For me it always does: thank God for the mind He has given me that still allows me to study enough the day/morning/night before.

These days I feel a strong need to start writing again. Maybe I will as this time it’s like an inner calling. It’s not like before, when it was just me wanting to get back to this habit so bad without any solid foundation, it’s like a need to let out all I’ve been gathering in these years of not writing a short story at least. I am looking forward to giving it some time after the exams, actually.

Well, this is basically the news, along with some fresh snow and colder weather. Will have more for you soon!

hi alina... just do your best, in the way you always do ;-)

you're older, wiser and more mature, your writing will benefit from that... don't let go of your dreams, because they can make your life real and worthwhile and writing is one of the ways to realise that...

don't worry, your time will come because you're honest, uncomplicated and dare to look within your own mind to seek out the secrets of life...

    keep well... sleep well...

i'm having that habit with study , no matter how many days i have before exams but it always happen for me to have all the study in the last day
i think i enjoy the choise of being stressed till the last min!, rather than finishing my subject a day before so i feel more relaxed :)))

    alina,

    whatever happens... don't worry...

things happen for a reason, if things don't go your way just write about it, share and care...

we're all here for you, to listen, help, encourage and motivate... you write well, tell us (when you have a moment) of the things that are holding you down, keeping you back, oppressing you and limiting your potential... nobody judges (i don't, that's for sure) and writing free's the mind... (but you knew that already ;-)

    keep well...

    Hello Alina,

From January 27 on I like your posts more than ever because in former months it always was a little bit difficult because the posts were so filled with all sorts of information but now there are only a few thoughts, just ordered, you seem being relaxed and it is a joy to read.

Nice that you have found your real self. I am still on that way.

A comment to this post of learning:

I have decided that I want to learn how to lead my life

Thanks, Mon. I think we will probably both get back to some form of writing soon enough.

Bart, thank you for all your support and for never being judgemental. I'm quite ok, just caught in so many things all the time lately.:)

Irina, I could never do the sleepless night thing...I need at least a couple of hours of sleep before the exam.

Tota, this habit is very common from what I can tell. But it is far from being a healthy habit.

Doshar, I do forget all the details quite easy as well. But apparently the things I was supposed to understand and remember later tend to stick around. And yeah, being able to do so much learning in so little time is quite a luck.

Idi, thank you , I am glad you're enjoying the blog :)
