Lost of Found Theme Song
And then she'd laugh the nighttime into the day,
Pushing her fears further along.

And then she'd say: It's OK, I got lost on the way
But I'm a Supergirl and Supergirls don't cry.
And she'd say: It's all right, I got home late last night
But I'm a Supergirl and Supergirls just fly.

Then she'd shout down the line, tell me she's got no more time
Cause she's a Supergirl and Supergirls don't cry.
And then she'd scream in my face, tell me to leave, leave this place
Cause she's a Supergirl and Supergirls just fly.

Reamon, Supergirl

I can think of a couple of people these lyrics describe. Supergirls. They're definitely interesting people.

sunshine, you're as strong and as clever as any supergirl, along with having good taste too ;-)

just fly, and do your own thing... you'll be OK... OK?

I must agree with LĀ“Avendetta. By the way I understand these lyrics and this song, she'd want to cry form time to time, but she doesn't allow herself, as supergirls don't cry, they just fly. So it's ok to let it all out, sometimes. Helps you prepare for what's to come... Big hugs coming you way. :)

I don't believe in the supergirls idea. No matter how strong you are, at some point you snap, reveal your emotions in a dramatical way because everybody has feelings and gets hurt sometimes. Like the guys from R.E.M. say, "Everybody hurts". So I think it's better to express your emotions, even cry and let it all out because eventually a moment will come when your feelings will burst out unexpectedly.

Well, guys, I see the song a little differently. It is the conflict between what you want (and say that you want) and what you actually need and feel. She only says supergirls don't cry, but then a major breakdown is described. And from the video I remember seing her cry. That's what's beautiful about this song. You burn, you cry, you hurt, then you put your supergirl attitude on and go on, move on, live your life...Supergirls don't cry, I think, is just something you say to yourself to stop feeling hurt and lonely, to find a reason to let go of all the tears.
