I han read that some time ago but it was a pleasure to read it again. I have showed that to strangers and they didn't even smile while I was almost dying. It's just like taking them to Sapanta, to Cimitirul Vesel. We would spend an entire day laughing while they would look and say "What a nice picture!". This is romanian culture. Mint rubbing IS romanian culture.

Bart, I don't know what that means! Just as you don't understand the mind rubber definitions i guess! You have to have some knowledge of Romanian to understand these phrases. Otherwise they are just some senseless stuffs. It is something like...a person wasting time, not worrying about anything, just hanging = a mint rubber!

Paul, cutting leaves to dogs, burning gas, rubbing mint and cat's tail pulling all have the same meaning - wasting your time doing nothing. It is something you'd say about someone who's taking an extended break from everything, sometimes prettending he'e doing something of importance.
