GOOD-BYE COCA-COLA!!!
Yesterday I was quietly walking to work when an old men going by turned around and said: “Stop drinking Coca-Cola!!!” I just thought “Not your damn business!” and continued to drink from the 1 liter bottle of ice-cold Coca-Cola I had just bought.
Later I started thinking about it and decided maybe I should take a break from so much Coca-Cola and coffee! So today is my first caffeine-free day! That’s why I am half asleep and cannot spell right one sentence without the all-correcting Word!
I disagree with Irina. Looking at the photos on her blogpost today, I can see why she thinks life on earth without coffee is possible.
When you live in surroundings like that, who needs coffee? But with the situation otherwise, I find all I can do is restrain my usage, which is done pretty easily.
Just go for the coffee when you're really zonked. So yeah, maybe habitually drinking soda that has caffeine, when you're not really that tired, isn't so good...
This silly photo is something I can't make up my mind about per my comment near the end of my July 4 post...
Oh yes - but notice that while Irina passes on the coffee, she seems to be pretty much in favor of "Alexander," ha-ha, again, see her post.
i've been on a diet for a few days where i drink water first thing in the morning and nothing else for half an hour to an hour. i keep my eyes on the clock for the time to come so i can have my coffee. i don't care about the food!! i can have nothing till 3 or 4 pm, but coffee.. i can't
if you have a litre of coke!!!... that is alot of caffiene, i think you shouldn't go cold turkey if you don't want to run someone down in the street. baby steps.
on the other hand, in ramadan, where i fast for a month (fasting from dawn to sunset) i kind of function ok without coffee the whole day and sometimes even in the evening. so i guess it is just a matter of adaptation.
well i gave up soda but will not do so for coffee. i love the taste of it. not the effects, the taste. let me know the difference on how you feel, when you are not sleeping :)
